The first 4 PS1 Ridge Racer games, remastered in this sort of scope and style would be glorious. Twisted Metal remasters would be great, First two were my favs. I also hope they make a full length PSVR2 game. I never heard or Ridge Racers but suddenly Im remembering Coolboarders haha. That said, with there already being a GTA Trilogy recently delisted this is just an upgrade of that. Yes, seemingly a substantial upgrade, but what about the people that bought the previous version?
Of course they can still play it, re-download if needed, etc. But there should really be an upgrade path to this version as well. This should be the same! I will buy the disc version in December, and hope sales are enough to warrant the rumored Red Dead Redemption remaster. Never going to happen. And they even managed to beat Sony on being worse on how they are charging for it too.
Rockstar stated the ps5 version will run at 4k up to 60fps. Am I correct to assume the physical copy works like the digital? So if I buy a ps4 physical copy and run it on my ps5, will it have 4k up to 60fps? I doubt it will happen though even at a discounted upgrade price, certainly not a free upgrade. You should have made a physical PS5 version for this. The retail version that will be released on december 7th is the ps5 version or not?
And if you buy the ps4 version retail will it have the graphical improvements on ps5 or it will run on compatibility mode? I already have GTA San Andreas bought digitally the original version, So im wondering will i get the remaster for free or an update? The physical copy is cheaper in my country.

Red Dead had one of the best stories in a game and the gameplay was just as good if not better than GTA V…that came out 3 years later. RDR on ps now doesnt help one bit. Living in Norway, ps now, seems unlikely to grace our shores. A lot of valid points in the comments. How does a few online items help anyone? It just fuels more stupid arguments between Sony and XBONE users — nobody has time for that and nobody really wants that! I feel like sony have soured a great game announcement by paying for exclusivity no one cares about and pointing out they want to charge us monthly for a game that is backwards compatible on Xbox one.
Are sony in any way aware of what gamers want? Rather than withold content an calling it exclusive why not just make a short vr experiance thats exclusive to ps4. Even sitting in a bar playing the gambling minigames with the usual hustle bustle of a west saloon with a short shootout at the end would be awesome and totally within the realistic boundaries that ps vr offers.
What a depressing state for gaming to be in, after 3 decades of gaming behind me I can honestly say I have never seen the gaming scene look so bad and devoid of any groundbreaking originality. Jumping back on track: Red Dead Redemption 2? Prelude to the first game?! No thanks!! The combat was done well but online play sucked. What a bore it will be for sure!! The problem is that they sell and people want this stuff. The pixel games sell and there is a demand for them. People fail to realise that there have always been remasters, remakes and such, Pacman has come out on every console ever.
Option is never a bad think, there are plenty of titles out there that are new, same as other generations. Will never subscribe to PS Now… to play nearly decade old games even good ones from a prev. Make the deals about marketing campaigns all you want but this are business deals i do not condone. Better to not do it at all. It will not than likely not look as good as this in a standard PS4 no, but it will look at least as good as GTAV, which is no slouch. Really hope they come out with a collectors edition! Can you buy red dead redemption and play it on ps4? I know on ps now you can play it but is the ps4 backwards compatibility?
